Acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of our employees makes for an inspiring and enjoyable work environment. It encourages them to be productive and motivated and boosts loyalty and collaboration. We are excited to continue our insights series featuring Aarki employees who shine during the month. Noelle Angco, a Marketing Associate at Aarki, excelled in her work this month, thanks to her dedicated efforts and commitment.
"Noelle enriched the marketing team when she joined last year,” said Fellese Co, Director of Marketing at Aarki. “Her diligence and leadership in project management have helped pave the way for us to deliver great customer experience and insightful content to our clients and partners."
Noelle is celebrating her first year at Aarki this month. She joined the team full of positive energy and enthusiasm. Being a very approachable and easy-going person, she radiates good vibes. When faced with challenges, she does not dwell on the negative but focuses on presenting possible solutions.
To get a perspective on Noelle’s personality, viewpoints, and goals in life, we asked her several questions.
Q: What do you like the most about the company culture at Aarki?
I love how everyone is approachable. In this span of time, I have always been open to new ideas and learned a lot about the industry. I’m glad that many of the people I work with are kind and they’ll help you out and teach you anything you need to know.
Q: What do you think is the most important skill needed in your role?
There are plenty of skills to consider but from my experience two of the skills necessary would be flexibility and adaptability to the changes and trends happening. There are so many things that could happen in a snap (i.e. a pandemic) and it’s okay to be shaken a little, but bouncing back and adapting to the situation has helped me conceptualize new ideas and further my career to where I am now.
Q: If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
I would definitely be a Marine Biologist! Ever since I was younger, the ocean and animals have been special to me, so being able to be around them both would be a dream.
Q: What is your most overused app?
It has to be Call of Duty Mobile. I love mobile games and I try out new and interesting ones as often as I can. But outside of games, one of my other overused apps is YouTube because I love consuming and learning from the content that I see there.
Q: What’s the coolest thing you have done in your life?
I went scuba diving for the first time a couple years ago and it has become my favorite activity! I highly encourage everyone to try it out at least once. It’s definitely one of the most peaceful experiences in my life, too.
Q: What’s your favorite thing about the area/city/state you live in?
My favorite thing about the area I live in is that it feels like home anywhere I go. I live in the largest subdivision in Asia (go search it up, it’s very cool) and I’ve been here for as long as I can remember. Looking around at how everything has changed in my area is a little bittersweet but I’m happy to have experienced all of these growing up.
We are happy to have Noelle on our team as a vivid example that dedication and hard work can lay a firm ground for continuous success.
