As countries all over the world continue to rise above the pandemic, the need and desire to attend events become stronger. And we are not an exception! Many of the events we attended and sponsored remained virtual, but there are opportunities surfacing for in-person gatherings.This past few months, one thing has been at the forefront of all mobile marketers’ minds - Apple iOS 14.5 privacy update. It has been a key topic in seminars recently and our team was grateful for the opportunities to share our thoughts and insights on the topic at several events that we were part of.

White Nights China Online & Shanghai Offline
White Nights’ first-ever event in Asia happened in China between April 26th and May 14th at the Shanghai Marriott Hotel Parkview. This hybrid event was a mix of fun and informative sessions. It was a two-day in-person event in Shanghai, with live and online sessions available on their WN Hub platform. The event was an exciting experience for us as we met with many industry professionals.
eTail Asia Virtual Summit
eTail Asia 2021 hosted their second virtual event from May 18th to 20th. The three-day summit was the perfect opportunity for our team to meet and network with mobile marketers from all over Southeast Asia. Each day presented action-packed stories and strategic conversations from Asia’s most successful retailers.
Our Senior Manager, Partnerships, Carla Adraque, shared key pillars for success and strategies for mobile apps to go global during Aarki’s virtual showcase. We shared top creative strategies, case studies, practical tips for implementation, and discussed the significant factors in successfully driving international growth.
App Growth Summit EMEA
App Growth Summit returned for another virtual conference, this time for the EMEA market! The-day event was loaded with exciting sessions that talked about the latest iOS 14.5 privacy updates, strategies for growing your mobile app, optimizing monetization, and many more.
Kim Carlson, our VP of Sales - NA & EMEA, was part of the “The Aftermath of the Apocalypse - What's Changed, What's New, Since the Launch of ATT/14.5” panel. She joined fellow thought leaders Jessica Hasenplaugh formerly from Wooga, Thomas Petit of Thomasbcn, Gerard Colomer from Smadex, and the moderator, André Kempe of Admiral Media. It was a raw and uncensored debate as they discussed the changes being enforced and their thoughts on how the future of app marketing will turn out.
Programmatic Pioneers Connect Virtual Summit
Programmatic Pioneers Connect is an invite-only virtual event that features sessions on programmatic marketing, benchmarking with senior programmatic leaders in small group breakouts, and the opportunity to connect with solution providers of the industry. It covered discussions on the future of programmatic advertising post-pandemic, how to achieve a successful mobile marketing campaign with creative strategies, creating engaging content for campaigns targeted to mobile users, and many more.
Our team met with top marketers from around Asia and discussed mobile programmatic advertising and how it can be used to grow an app’s high lifetime value users.
Hamburg Mobile Summit LIVE!
Held June 16th to 17th, Hamburg Mobile Summit LIVE! went online for the 2nd edition of their virtual conference. The summit featured content about the adtech and mobile industry, alongside multiple networking opportunities including pre-scheduled 1x1 video meetings, instant chat, virtual booths, and a lot more!
We also partnered up with industry thought leaders and presented a webinar for different markets in Asia. From Apple’s privacy update, to the mobile app market of Korea and Vietnam, read further about what was discussed in each event.
[Webinar] Apple is about to enforce the ATT policy, are you ready?
Together with Singular, Fyber, and Zynga, the webinar, held April 8th, was an open roundtable discussion that discussed all the things marketers and vendors/partners should know about the Apple privacy updates and how to prepare for when app tracking transparency is enforced for the Chinese market.

[Webinar] KR Going Global
Aarki joined Singular, Korea Mobile Games Association (KMGA), Latis Global, and Xsolla once again to bring another webinar to the Korean market. Live on March 12th, the discussions revolved around taking Korean mobile apps to the global audience through a collection of tips and strategies.
The discussions on expanding to the global market revolved around localization, monetization, and user growth. There was a fireside chat moderated by Singular, with speakers from KMGA and Xsolla, that talked about achieving successful global market entry despite the pandemic. Watch the webinar on-demand here.
[Webinar] Mobile Advertising 101: Trends & Challenges in the Vietnam Market
On June 17th, Aarki and SocialPeta organized a webinar to share mobile advertising trends and challenges for the growing Vietnamese market. The webinar talked about the basic strategies of app marketing through programmatic advertising and explained the importance of creative performance and analysis. We invited a special guest expert from AppsFlyer to discuss the changes in Apple’s privacy update as well as their solutions to these new challenges.
