  • What’s the most significant change you witnessed in the programmatic advertising industry?
    The rise of header bidding. While this is still a work in progress, it’s been amazing to see how quickly the industry (both global corporations and startups) has invested in unified auctions. It seems that both publishers and buyers were frustrated with the current technology and outdated tools. It's exciting to be part of the distribution and help move the industry forward.
  • Given that the mobile programmatic space is evolving quickly, what’s something about the industry you wish never changes?
    Speed of innovation and the ability to learn and grow. I’ve always appreciated the fact that we have an overall willingness to partner and learn from one another in order build both a great industry and career opportunities. I hope that never changes.

  • How do you build trust with your clients?
    Be real, collaborate, and deliver results. I truly care about creating partnerships with clients, and each interaction is an opportunity to build or break trust. It takes time to earn trust, but it only takes one bad experience to lose it.

  • What’s the most unforgettable encounter you had with a client?
    It was a small group of clients at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. After many years of attending the conference without taking a moment to explore the city, we decided to take a day to be tourists! It was a lot of fun learning about the history, trying new things, and bonding with clients!

  • Mention three skills that any professional working in the mobile advertising industry should have. 
    Curiosity, work ethic, and sense of humor. When I’m hiring, I look for the soft skills that I can not teach. I've found the most successful people have those core qualities and they can quickly pick up the rest.

  • What’s something you can never leave home without?
    My cell phone!! Such a cliché, but I can’t leave home without it.

  • What song perfectly describes your life?
    I don't think I can pick just one song but how about a band? I've always been a fan of the Grateful Dead. Depending on what is going on in my life, I can usually turn to the Dead for some inspiration!

  • Name a fictional book or movie that you wish had a different ending.
    I think any movie that has dogs in it. It seems the dog always dies in the end. Makes me cry every time!

  • What are you most grateful for in your life?
    I have been very fortunate to have worked for some amazing companies that have allowed me to travel the world and meet really interesting and talented people. With each new experience, I have grown so much as a person, and I appreciate how it always prepared me for my next opportunity!

  • Who or what inspires you to be a better person?
    I think having horses in my life makes me a better person. If I’m not working, you can probably find me at the barn. I’ve been fortunate in my life to have amazing horses that have taught me many life lessons, especially trust, confidence, perspective, and most importantly, love!
