We might associate mobile tech with male executives and engineers, but there are many women in tech and executive-level roles who are now leading the industry.
Currently, women hold 31% of computing jobs, according to a study by CEB. And the good news is this number is set to continuously increase until the year of 2020.
To acknowledge and give credit to women in the mobile tech industry, we continue our blog series featuring women, game changers in the mobile industry.

InMobi is a mobile-first and mobile-only platform and has been pioneering the next generation of video ad experiences, deep-learning based optimization algorithms, and header bidding to deliver maximum value to advertisers, users and publishers.
- What drove you to mobile marketing industry?
My first job in NYC was working for a mobile advertising startup with four people in Soho. This experience provided me with the opportunity to learn many sides of the business and create impact beyond my imagination. - What is your favorite thing about your job?
The awesome team and partners I get to work with. I feel fortunate to work with the great people at the DSP’s buying InMobi’s in-app supply. The people that power the DSP’s are keen to collaborate in growing our partnership through product roadmap planning, creative troubleshooting to resolve issues and giving us feedback to allow us to constantly improve our business.
- What do you see is the next big thing in mobile marketing?
The introduction of a mobile in-app Ads.txt solution from the IAB Tech lab working group and increased adoption of VAST 4.0 tags on the buy side for seamless mobile in-app viewability buying. - How did InMobi help you grow as one of the leaders in your company and industry?
InMobi is very supportive with transitioning employees into different roles as opportunities present themselves. In my six years at InMobi, I’ve worked on teams covering supply, data, strategic partnerships and most recently InMobi Exchange. - Can you tell us something about InMobi’s new ventures?
We’re thrilled about our recent acquisition of AerServ in early 2018 and look forward to continuing to grow our mobile in-app programmatic scale even further across in-app video.
- What books are at your bedside?
We have a team book club and we’re currently reading ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’. Other than that, The New Yorker is always beside my bed. - If you were not in this industry, what would you be doing?
I love walking and I love dogs, so maybe a dog walker :) - Name the top three apps you use daily?
