Making the World a Better Place with Video Games

Aarki was excited to contribute to the King team initiative to help make the lives of people with physical disabilities more fun.

On July 21st, Tristan Morgan, Senior Programmatic Marketing Executive at King, together with his colleagues, started a 400 km cycle ride from the safety of London to the mean streets of Paris. The purpose was to raise money for a charity called Special Effect which is focused on raising the quality of life and bringing joy to people living in difficult circumstances by helping them to play video games. By using technology ranging from modified joypads to eye-control, Special Effect are bringing families and friends together and having a profoundly positive impact on therapy, confidence and rehabilitation.

“It was such an amazing experience to be able to peddle my way across the French countryside with some great people for such a fantastic cause. I know just how much this meant for the people at Special Effect and how much of a difference it’s going to make to the people they help!” said Tristan Morgan.
