● What is your role at Aarki?
I am Arlene, Business Development Manager at Aarki. Currently, I am working with the Business Development and the Analytics team to help build stronger and more fruitful partnership with industry’s leading exchanges.
● What drew you to Aarki originally? And how has Aarki changed since?
A former Business Development Director at Aarki found my profile through LinkedIn and invited me to join Aarki. Given the product and focus of Aarki, I was very excited to join the team. Aarki has evolved a lot in the Ad tech space.
● What has been the most important innovation you have witnessed in Aarki?
It would be its unique DSP and strong focus.
● What sorts of industry trends do you see?
I expect greater shift and focus on mobile advertising.
● What do you think is Aarki’s biggest opportunity in 5 years?
Aarki could be a one-stop shop (advertising agency) for all advertisers.
● What is your proudest moment at Aarki?
There are actually many! One of them was the moment when I started the communication with the premium RTB exchanges in the industry. And now, when I see the results of my efforts in closing the deals with our partners, I feel even more motivated.
● How would you describe Aarki culture?
Aarki is a very friendly company. People are talented and smart - awesome people!
● Choose your Little Miss, to describe your work personality?
I am Little Miss Gourmand! I would like to lose weight, but I love eating. Food is my biggest weakness. LOL!
● What is your personal philosophy?
“Work hard – Play hard”. For me, it is important to have work-life balance or a good life and work management.
● How would you describe the best place you’ve travelled by far?
The best place I have travelled so far is Denmark. The place is so lovely: fresh air, nice people, and castles everywhere!
● What are the three things you can’t live without?
Food, phone, and internet.
● What books are at your bedside?
The last book I read was “The Hypnotist” by Lars Kepler. Frankly speaking, I am not really into reading fiction.
● If given a chance, who would you like to be in a day?
I’d like to be a fitness guru.
● What is an ability you wish you have?
Mind reading.
● You’d like to be famous for?
I’d like to be famous for cooking!
● You’re happiest when?
When people around me are happy because of what I do and who I am.
Arlene has been in the mobile advertising industry for 5 years. Her strong negotiation skills enable her to stand out from the crowd and develop strategic relationships.
